Barry is our Quantity Surveyor and oversees the commercial delivery of our projects. His responsibilities include subcontractor account management, cost reconciliations, and financial forecasting. He also supports with implementing systems and processes that strengthen the business’s operational efficiency.
As a big believer in continuous professional development, Barry trained as a quantity surveyor yet has had a career spanning a variety of senior roles, including Operations Director. His expertise includes health and safety, quality assurance, business development, and cost planning, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of the industry’s challenges and opportunities.
Outside of work, Barry is a sports enthusiast and a devoted grandfather. He enjoys Formula 1, cricket, and football, holding a season ticket for Southampton FC. When he’s not cheering on his teams, he loves walking Cornwall’s coastal paths and spending quality time with his grandson Alfie, who has him wrapped around his little finger!
