Appledown Projects were employed by the commercial developer to convert the existing offices into a training centre in addition to extensive external, electrical and utilities works across the industrial site. 

Best value was a high priority and Appledown Projects worked closely with the project Quantity Surveyor to value engineer the scheme across several areas together with our supply chain. 

The project was located on a live site with HGV traffic requiring close management from our Construction Manager to ensure the safety of the public and operatives. Works included trenching across the live site for 3-phase power supplies, ensuring steel plates covering trenches at all times to retain access.
