We’re pleased to announce the completion of our latest project for
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council:
Eastlands, a complex renovation involving a Victorian-era Grade II listed building alongside a more modern structure.
Our work at the 2000m² Eastlands site encompassed extensive refurbishments across both buildings to ensure legislative compliance, enhance sustainability, and improve marketability.
Approximately 70% of the renovation efforts focused on Eastlands II, the Grade II listed property. Here, we conducted a full strip-out and reinstatement of internal finishes and joinery, installed new mechanical and electrical systems, and fitted a monitored category L1 fire alarm system and LED lighting. Externally, we undertook repairs and replacements to preserve the building’s historic character.
Meanwhile, in Eastlands I and the adjoining multi-storey car park, updates included further installation of the L1 fire alarm, LED lighting upgrades, new floor and ceiling finishes, and redecoration—all to create a refreshed, compliant, and inviting commercial space.
It has been a rewarding experience to deliver this project to uphold Eastlands’ historic value while integrating modern standards. We’re pleased to see it ready to serve the community under the care of
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
